Precision-Tuned Flat Wire Recoil Springs

Installation Guide

1. Insert the stepped spacer into the slide. The smaller end should index into the slide opening, allowing the spacer to sit flush against the front of the slide.
2. Install your selected recoil spring onto the guide rod.
3. With the slide in your left hand and the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, maintain control of the recoil spring assembly.
4. Using your right thumb, compress the spring assembly and guide it into position until it seats securely against the barrel lug.
5. Verify that the recoil assembly is properly seated before completing installation and function checks.

ECM Precision recommends starting with the lighter spring weight and increasing spring weight as needed to optimize cycling for your specific ammunition and configuration.
