Precision-Tuned Recoil Springs

The kit includes three spring options, giving you the flexibility to tune your recoil system to your specific ammunition and configuration:

• Red: 15% lighter than SIG Sauer OEM resistance
• Orange: 15% heavier than SIG Sauer OEM resistance
• Black: SIG Sauer OEM resistance

For most setups, ECM Precision recommends starting with the Black OEM-equivalent spring and testing your specific ammunition and configuration before moving to a lighter or heavier spring.

Installation Guide

1. Insert the stepped spacer into the slide, ensuring the smaller end indexes into the slide opening so the spacer sits flush at the front.
2. Install your selected recoil spring onto the guide rod.
3. With the slide in your left hand and the muzzle oriented in a safe direction, maintain control of the recoil spring assembly as you position it.
4. Using your right thumb, compress the assembly and guide it into position until it seats securely against the barrel lug.
5. Confirm the recoil assembly is properly seated before completing installation and function checks.
