Each assembly features a precision-machined solid stainless steel guide rod finished in a deep Black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This advanced coating provides superior wear resistance, reduced friction, and exceptional corrosion protection — all while delivering a sleek, high-end aesthetic.

Paired with a flat wire recoil spring, this system promotes smoother cycling, enhanced longevity, and more consistent return-to-battery performance compared to traditional round-wire setups.

Kit Includes:

• Three precision-tuned flat wire recoil springs:

  • Red – 10 lb

  • Yellow – 12 lb

  • Black – 14 lb (factory equivalent)

Installation Guide:

1. Insert the stepped spacer into the slide, ensuring the smaller end indexes into the slide opening so it sits perfectly flush at the front.

2. We recommend starting with a lighter spring weight and increasing as needed to fine-tune performance for your specific ammunition and setup.

3. Install your selected spring onto the guide rod.

4. With the slide in your left hand and the muzzle oriented in a safe direction, maintain control of the spring assembly as you position it.

5. Using your right thumb, compress the assembly and guide it into place until it seats firmly against the barrel lug.
